Requirements from the Westmoreland Public Schools
Policies and Procedures.

IMPORTANT: Revisions to the Standards of Accreditation
were approved by the State Board of Education on July 28, 2000.
Students who entered the ninth grade for the first time
during 2000 - 2001,2001 - 2002, 2002 - 2003 must pass
six SOL tests and earn six verified credits to graduate:
two in English and four of their choosing. Refer to the
verified credit information stated in the pamphlet:
Your High School Diploma:
For Graduates of 2007 and Beyond.
- SOL tests will be administered during the fourth week of May
and the first week of June. Specific dates will be posted
when we receive them from the Virginia Department of Education.
- Please remember that this information is subject to change
according to Virginia Department of Education requirements.
