Correlation of the NNRGS Curriculum
to the VA Standards of Learning

HUMANITIES classes are conducted in an interdisciplinary environment at the NNRGS. Topics within a specific course are explored with reference to a central theme. Student products reflect the exploration of the school's theme through the medium of the student-selected course. Themes at the NNRGS are given points of reference in the PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE. In general, the following chart provides an overview of the SOLs which are both supplemented and complemented in coursed offered at the NNRGS, thus meeting and exceeding Virginia Standards of Learning.
