Logic: Arguments
The learner will be able to
formulate and assess the validity of a logical argument made up of premises and a conclusion, transform a brief verbal argument into a symbolic representation, graphically illustrate arguments (using Venn diagrams) that use quantifiers such as all, no, none, and some, and apply the law of syllogism and the law of detachment. (G.1.a,b,c,d).
